Located at Iowa State University, the Public Science Collaborative is comprised of a diverse group of people with various interests and specialties. At PSC, we work from data to action. We focus on a wide variety of research methods, ensure that our data is both gathered and interpreted in ways that are fair and sustainable for the future. Our work revolves around topics related to public health governance in Iowa and across the U.S., meaning that we want to improve both access to and quality of research and data. PSC strives to create scholarship that promotes sustainability, equity, accessibility, and teamwork. Included in this is the effort to create human-centered approaches to science. We use stories and experiences from real people in order to inform governance and public health policy. By highlighting data to action, we strive to close the gap between publication to implementation of research discoveries.
